Police Helicopter Shot Down by Drug Traffickers in Rio

A police helicopter was shot down over northern Rio de Janeiro today by drug traffickers. Two police officers were killed. Police were intervening in a battle between two drug gangs. Buses were also set on fire as you can see here. Just two weeks Rio was picked as the host city for the 2016 Olympic games.
