H1N1 Swine Flu Could Delay Hajj

The BBC reports that swine flu could delay the Hajj, an annual pilgrimage to Mecca by Muslims.
Egypt's Grand Mufti, Sheikh Ali Jumua, has called for a religious edict to decide how long the pilgrimage rites of the Hajj could be postponed. At least two million people took part in the last Hajj, which falls this year in November.

More than 7,500 cases of swine flu have been reported worldwide.
The Hajj is the largest annual pilgrimage in the world. If the swine flu is still a threat in November a large mass gathering like the Hajj would be an idea way for the virus to spread. You can find some swine flu resources here.
