Huge protests in support of opposition candidate Mirhossein Mousavi turned violent Monday when the hardline Islamic Basij militia fired on the crowds. The protesters think the election was stoled by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Iran's Guardian Council will be holding a recount but if the recount favors Ahmadinejad then there could be renewed protests in Iran.
