Desperate Haitians Eating Mud After Four Hurricanes

A very dire situation is being reported in Haiti. The AP reports in the video below that some Haitians are literally eating mud combined with cooking oil after crops were destroyed by a series of four devastating hurricanes. The AP also says that in addition to a food crisis Haiti also has an ongoing severe security issue.

Tropical Systems Flood Haiti

A series of hurricanes and tropical storms have created a catastrophe for residents of Haiti. Eight of the island nations ten provinces are flooded. There are too many dead to count and many Haitians are starving. The U.N. is seeking over a $100 million in aid to feed 800,000 Haitians in need.
